Homes built for people, not patients.

At Cuerden Care, we tailor make our homes to ensure that we provide the highest standard of care for every resident, no matter their needs.

Seeing people beyond the diagnosis

Here at Cuerden Care we look at Individual needs, not diagnosis alone. Each individual whom lives in the homes have their own wishes, goals and support needs. We are here to support these and to look above and beyond to create care that isn’t just personalised but completely bespoke for that individual and we, as the care team, are here to provide this. Being a family run business, those family values run through each part of our organisation to support our service users and our staff to come together to help support independence, dignity, community and kindness. We above all want to ensure that each service user is safe in their own home and we will do everything in our power to ensure we meet this basic need.

  • Individual need, not diagnosis alone – here we explore that even though people may have a diagnosis it doesn’t mean that each individual will have the exact symptoms, and we need to find out from each person what that diagnosis means to them.
  • Each person has their own wishes, goals and support needs – these will form the basis of the care we provide for that individual
  • Bespoke care – each care plan and care need is tailored to each person
  • Family business values – this means that love and support and safety is the back bone of our care, and we treat people as they were our own family
  • Independence, dignity, community and kindness – these values need to run all the way through the way we care and support, to our documentation
  • Safety – when our service users feel safe they want to engage, make friends, learn and be part of the Cuerden community.
