REACT: what we are doing and why?
Dr Collins Timire from REACT’s CeSHHAR team recently attended a symposium run by LSTM’s Institute for Resilient Health Systems at Cresta Lodge in Harare, Zimbabwe.
The climate crisis is impacting on people’s ability to access health care and health systems’ ability to provide services. REACT is working to strengthen health systems so they can withstand climate shocks and stresses, and the health workforce is an important part of that response and our research.
REACT is funded by the UK’s National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR).
